High quality DMC perle cotton that has been lovingly hand-dyed by myself with a variegation of five different colours. Perfect for hand embroidery, big-stitch hand quilting, boro, kawandi, visible mending, applique – particularly wool applique, and more. What would you stitch with these beautiful colours?
Perle 5 is chunkier (similar to approx 4-5 strands of stranded embroidery floss.) Price is for one 25 metre skein of thread.
Perle 8 is thinner (similar to approx three strands of stranded embroidery floss.) Price is for one 25 metre skein of thread.
Stranded is six-stranded embroidery floss. Price is for one 10 metre skein of thread.
Dyed using commercial grade fibre reactive procion mx dyes. These dyes have great fade resistant qualities, but please store your threads away from direct light.
These hand-dyed threads have been rinsed and washed thoroughly, but colour fastness cannot be guaranteed 100% due to water quality differences, different detergents or leaving sewn objects to sit damp (don’t ever do that – dry your work as soon as you have finished washing it!)
Cold machine wash, do not bleach.
